Josh Allen declines pro bowl invitation: good for him

The NFL’s 2022 Pro Bowl kicks off on February 6th. Many of the NFL’s stars will be in attendance. From actual All Pro players to high caliber fan favorites, many will be taking part is such a star studded favorite pastime. There, however, won’t be a major star in attendance and that’s the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen.

Josh Allen, despite leading the Bills to being 1st in the AFC East for the second time in a row, throwing for 36 touchdowns, 4,407 yards passing, 763 yards rushing, 6 rushing touchdowns and defeating the Pats twice in a row…is an alternate. I mean c’mon… Josh Allen is just a Pro Bowl alternate?

First off, I blame the voters (you scum bags…just kidding) (taken form NFL.com):

I blame all of these people. There should be no reason why the man who single handedly knocked out Bill Belichick’s Patriots should be an alternate. For that I am glad that he said “No” to going. In fact, Allen stated the following:

  • “Roster selections are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 players.” (NFL.com)

Josh Allen quote By Chris Mortensen

We all know that this “body heal” nonsense was hogwash. All players need to heal, but this is different. By thumbing his nose to the NFL this was a direct “F38K you” to the NFL and the haters.

“Are you not entertained?”
