Hello ladies and gentlemen it’s the AwfulGuy, writer of the Awful Sports News and today we’re going talk about Josh Allen’s new gigantic contract.
Recently, Allen signed a gargantuan contract that has the potential to bring in $258 Million dollars over the next 6 years. In fact, in the next 4 years, Allen will stand to bring in over $100 Million.
This huge contract is not without cause. Josh Allen has a career completion percentage of 61.8%, 9,707 yards passing and 67 touchdowns after three years. Allen went from 10 touchdowns in 2018 to 37 touchdowns in 2020.
Per NFL history, Allen is the only player with 400 plus yards passing, 30 plus passing touchdowns, and 8 plus rushing touchdowns in a season and the only QB in NFL history with 3 consecutive seasons with seven plus rushing touchdowns (“Kelly is more than sold on Allen as the franchise quarterback,” CBS Sports Jeff Kerr).
Combine his achievements with the likes of his weapons for 2021 such as Stefon Diggs 1 time Pro Bowler and 1 time All Pro, Emmanuel Sanders 2x Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champ, and Cole Beasley who we know can be deadly in the slot, and it ’s safe to say that it looks like the Bills are taking it to the Chip in the near future.
So with that said, I think the Bills did a great job sealing up the young QB who won’t be up for free agency well after he’s 30. This signing allows the GM to earn his money, by roster shifting and brokering other contracts and essential signings.
