Word ‘round town is that the New England Patriots have not reached out Tom Brady regarding a new contract.
Adam Schefter reported ESPN’s Jeff Darlington saying, “I’m now at the point where I would be stunned if Tom Brady went back to New England.” (Jeff Darlington/ESPN).
Kurt Warner in a USA-Today article by Nate Davis said, “I’d probably look at a team like the Titans.” (Kurt Warner/NFL NetWork/USA Today).
What’s really going to happen?
As stated before in my earlier videos, I believe that Tom Brady will still end with the New England Patriots. Reason being, the New England Patriots do not have an up and coming guy to fill the QB position, and Tom Brady can still put bottoms in seats, which essentially fills stadiums.
Kurt Warner said Tom should consider The Tennessee Titans.
The Tennessee Titans, however, should not consider Tom Brady
Why Not?
The Titans wouldn’t get 4,806 yards, 50 Tuds All Pro Tom Brady.
That would be the Pats in 2007
The Titans wouldn’t get a 3,900 yards, 36 Tuds 4 interceptions All Pro Tom Brady
That would the Pats in 2010
The Titans wouldn’t get a 4,577 yards, 32 Tuds 8 interception All Pro Tom Brady
That would be the Pats in 2017
The Titans would instead get a 42-43 year old Tom Brady coming off a 24 Touchdown 8 interception 2019 season.
In comparison to a first year Titan, 31 year old, Ryan Tannehill who threw for 2,743 yards 22 Tuds and 8 interceptions in only 12 games.
Not to mention that he had a 70.3 passing completion percentage.
There is no reason for Tom Brady to leave the New England Patriots.
I don’t think he’ll leave the Pats. It also seems like Brady and the Patriots are being stubborn and are trying to hide the fact that the truly love each other. I expect Tom to be in a Pats uniform come this July
There has been a lot of talk about Brady leaving the Pats. I, for one, believes that he and the Pats are playing hardball. He’ll no-doubt flirt with other teams, but be back home with the Pats before supper time.
