Great News for Tua

Ian Rapoport has reported that sources say highly sought after QB prospect Tua Tagovailoa has had a positive CT scan. Tua’s, Rapoport reported, fracture is healed and the range of motion is good.

Tua, who sources say is a clear top 5 pick, sustained the hip fracture in 2019 in a win over Mississippi State. Since then, questions have begun to surround the QB with many asking if he’ll ever be able to play football again. As soon as the injury diagnoses came out many have referenced the tragic hip injury sustained by Bo Jackson, which ended his football career. With the advancements in medicine and the technology and also by the type of injury sustained, Tua was able to escape a career ending injury.

Next, is the inquiry on his range of motion and sneaky agility displayed this past season. Teams will be looking intensely at Tua’s Pro day or private workout to see if they can nit pick or praise.

Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 2,840 yards and 33 TDs this past season before his devastating injury.

I have Tua rated as the number 1 QB in the draft but the 2nd QB going in the draft, pursuant to a smooth workout. He may land with the Miami Dolphins at 5.

I wish Tua well.
