There are definitely rumors circulating around the future Hall Of Fame Quarterback. His recent residential departure to Florida has been said to have been, “Permanent.”
This, however, has speculators fueling rumors that a team change is soon coming as well. The Dolphins, Jaguars, and the Buccaneers have all been possible rumored destinations.
This, in my opinion, is all just that ….speculation. Rivers is 38 and is coming off 16 years in the NFL (same year as Eli).
It’s possible that Rivers could stay for 2 more years, but I think the aging back is fighting with himself to call it a quits. This is a fight he’ll lose.
Philips will retire very soon.
