NBA 2x MVP superstar phenom and 3x NBA Champion (Wardell) Stephen Curry (II) sustained a broken left hand in a 121 – 110 loss against the Phoenix Suns.
While attempting a layup, Curry braced himself using his left hand only to have Suns’ player Aron Baynes fall on it.
Curry left the game and didn’t return. He was later evaluated and it was determined that his left hand was broken. It is unknown if it will require surgery at this time.
The Warriors are without Kevin Durant (NETS), Klay Thompson (injury), or Andre Iguodala (Grizzlies) this season. Klay Thompson is rumored to be on track to return by the end of the season. It is, however, only a rumor at this point in time.
The Warriors are 1 – 3, and are a shell of their former self. I, however, believe this is an opportune time to see Head Coach Steve Kerr really coach.
Being blessed with a young Warriors team, at the time, groomed by Mark Jackson, Kerr has ridden on the already established cohesiveness of the team. Coupled with the talents of Klay Thompson and Steph Curry, Kerr has been in cruise control.
