According to NFL Network’s Jesse Palmer, the Los Angeles Rams will be without their star cornerback Aqib Talib for a significant amount of time.
Los Angeles confirmed Monday they have placed Talib on injured reserve with a rib injury and will miss at least the next eight games, eligible to return in Week 15.
Talib, 33, showed up on the team’s injury report last Wednesday and ultimately was held out of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Troy Hill is expected to be named the starter in Talib’s absence.
