After suffering their first loss of the season Sunday night, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed he suffered a left ankle injury in the first half against the Colts.
Mahomes said his ankle was stepped on in the second half after it was taped up in the first half.
The ankle injury appears related to an ankle injury Mahomes sustained in Week 1 against Jacksonville.
“Obviously, it’s going to be a little sore tomorrow,” Mahomes said, “but for me, just kind of going into treatment and getting it better so I can be prepared for next week.”
Mahomes doesn’t appear overly concerned about the ankle injury, but it’s definitely something worth watching throughout practice this week.
