Clay Matthews, Linebacker of Los Angeles Rams, left the game early against the Seattle Seahawks with, at the time, was called an undisclosed injury. Head Coach Sean McVay later announced to reporters that Matthews suffered a broken jaw. The turn around from the injury would be 4 – 6 weeks.
The Los Angeles Rams will be without the 33 year veteran ball-hawk for games against the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Rams are fortunate given the team’s bye week in that they aren’t without Matthews for too long. Clay Matthews has 6 sacks, 16 solo tackles, and 2 forced fumbles on season.
