The Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) came to South Carolina to face the South Carolina Gamecocks (1-1) on this Football Saturday. The Gamecocks coming off a loss to UNC sprang out the gate strong toward a hard charging Tide.
This strength, however, only lasted one quarter as a guy named Tua Tagovailoa stepped behind center and, yet again, let the world know why he needs that Heisman, like yesterday.
Men lie, women lie, stats don’t
By the end of the game, Tua had 28/36 passing, 444 yards, 5 TDs (1 rushing), 0 interceptions! Just package the Heisman, put Tua’s name on it and ship it in the mail. This race may be over folks. Tua made great reads, showed poise in the pocket, and used his legs to extend plays. Tua is a grown man nuff said.

Records are made to broken (yeahh babbyy)
Tua may have been the first Crimson quarterback to throw for 400 yards and account for 5 touchdowns in a game, but he’s also on the heels of Scott Hunter’s 484 yards in a game (1969) and Gary Hollingsworth’s 5 touchdowns in a game (1989) (Alabama Crimson Tide 2015 Record Book).
There’s not stopping Tua. Stay tuned for Jalen Hurts response!
